Killer Instinct - Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I love when I find a new series, because it means I have books to look forward to that I (pretty much) know won't disappoint. I love psychological thrillers and intriguing casts, and the Naurals series by Inheritance Games author Jennifer Lynn Barnes pulls it off. 
In book 2, we find Cassie still torn between Dean and Michael, Leah being her snarky, dramatic self, and Sloan as adorably relatable as ever. Throw in a new supervisor from the FBI intimately familiar with their unqiue little group, and a supposed copy cat to Dean's own psycho father's means of murder, I couldn't read this one fast enough. The personal touch by bringing back in a characters own history (other than Cassie) was well done, and added some depth to Dean apart from the emo moody persona we knew. 
While I figured out the killer early on, it was still a blast, and the ending was equally a relief and a heartbreak (IYKYK).
